Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Payment
All appointments must be booked and paid for in advance. Appointments are confirmed only once payment has been received.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
Missed lessons (no-shows) are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
If you are late, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled time.
I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a lesson in exceptional circumstances. If this happens, you will be offered a replacement session or a refund.
3. Refunds
Refunds are not offered for completed lessons.
In rare cases where a refund is agreed, it will be processed using the original payment method.
4. Age Requirement
Lessons are designed for adult learners and are available to students aged 18 and over only.
5. Online Lessons & Technology
Lessons are delivered online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have:
A stable internet connection
A working microphone and camera
A quiet space suitable for conversation
I am not responsible for appointments disrupted due to technical issues on the student’s side.
Appointments must not be recorded (audio or video) by students without prior permission. This includes screen recording, audio recording, or recording via third-party devices.
6. Lesson Content & Approach
Lessons focus on communication, confidence, and real-life English use. My sessions are not suitable for formal exam preparation.
7. Confidentiality
All personal information and conversations are treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
8. Respectful Behaviour
Lessons are a safe and respectful space. Any behaviour that is abusive, inappropriate, or discriminatory will result in the immediate termination of the lesson without refund.
9. Changes to Terms
I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on my website.
